To love was what I thought

To honor and respect

But see!

All tears cry!

I love

But never recognized

I try to,

But no!

I hate not

My heart’s still for you

To change my mind?

Never!

I respect

But again,

I’m not recognized

I love

To that bed of roses

Till we’re old and grey

And there is a promise

To love till eternity

I choose to let go

I choose to forgive

And to forget too

I don’t want to imagine

Of a time in our lives

That I saw you pack bags

With intentions to leave me

To whom

Would I lean my shoulders?

To whom

Would I share happiness with?

The nice times we had
